Lynchburg, Va — Senator Tom Cotton (AR-R) Wednesday evening joined President Donald Trump in endorsing Republican Bob Good for Congress in a web video emailed to supporters and posted to social media.
“President Trump and I need more conservatives in the Congress who will put America first,” Cotton said. “Bob is strong on the border. He always backs our military and our vets. He’ll always back the blue and he’ll help us rebuild our economy.”
After graduating from Harvard Law School and starting a promising legal career, Cotton joined the U.S. Army, serving combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Cotton is now considered a rising star for his outspoken leadership on China, tech censorship, and law and order issues.
“At first Tom Cotton was a lone voice in the wilderness, but now he’s a national leader for holding China accountable, putting America First, and bringing back our manufacturing and jobs from overseas,” Good said. “I’m honored and humbled to have him join President Trump in supporting me, and I look forward to working with him in Washington to hold the line for the conservative principles that founded and still sustain this great nation.”
President Trump tweeted his support for Good in September: “Bob Good will be a terrific Congressman for Virginia! He is strong on the Economy, Law Enforcement, Life and our brave Military & Vets, and he will always protect your Second Amendment. Bob has my Complete and Total Endorsement!”
“America is at a crossroads in this election. The stakes couldn’t be higher, and the contrast couldn’t be clearer, Good concluded. “I’ll side with President Trump and Senator Tom Cotton to take on China, support law enforcement, stand up for our military, stop Socialism, and oppose political correctness.
