Lynchburg, Va — Today, the Democrats nominated Cameron Webb to run for the 5th District Congressional seat. “I stand in stark contrast to the agenda that Webb has put forward during his race” said Good when asked for comment. Extremism on climate, legalization of marijuana, additional funding for Planned Parenthood and tuition-free college are just a few examples of where Bob Good differs with the Democrat’s nominee. “I believe that the vast majority of the voters in the 5th District of Virginia know that there is no free lunch, that the sale and distribution of drugs are destroying our families and our communities, that curtailing our energy and economic freedom is not a formula for growth, and additional funding to an organization like Planned Parenthood in their efforts to destroy innocent life is abhorrent” said Good.
Finally, Good stated “I’m prepared to run a campaign that represents our conservative values and I look forward to sharing my message throughout the district in the coming months”.
Bob Good of Campbell County was nominated as the Republican candidate for the 5th District Congressional seat in a convention held on June 13 in Lynchburg.
