Bob Good, candidate for Congress in the 5th District of Virginia, continues to build support for his campaign to challenge incumbent Congressman Denver Riggleman at a nominating convention to be held in Lynchburg on April 25. Good has received endorsements from Conservative leaders, organizations and local elected officials throughout the district. “I am proud of the endorsements I have received in my run to be the next Congressman from the 5th District. It is gratifying to have the support of the Family Research Council Action PAC, General Jerry Boykin, former Congressman Virgil Goode and Bishop EW Jackson amongst other strong conservatives who are fighting for our values” said Good.
Good, former Senior Athletics Director at Liberty University and Executive Director of the Flames Club, recently left his post to run full time for the nomination. Good completed a four year term on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors where he was recognized for his leadership on economic growth, spending reductions, and a staunch supporter of traditional values. Good led on the Second Amendment Sanctuary County resolution in Campbell County, becoming the second county in the Commonwealth to declare opposition to the gun regulation legislation proposed by Governor Northam.
Former Congressman Virgil Goode will attend a campaign event on March 12 at the Sperryville Trading Cafe beginning at 7pm with Fox News Contributor (Ret) Col. Doug Macgregor as Special Guest. The public is invited to attend.
