Lynchburg, Va — Bob Good, candidate for Congress (VA-05), met today at Main Street Café and Coffee in Altavista with former District 5 Congressman Virgil Goode and former conservative House of Delegates member (District 59) Watkins Abbitt, Jr. Goode endorsed Good several months ago at his campaign kick off event. “It is my pleasure to enthusiastically endorse Bob Good for the Republican nomination for the 5th district Congressional seat. Bob has the conservative values desperately needed in Washington, along with a track record of doing what he says and standing for what it right,” said Goode.
Abbitt said this about Bob Good, “We need a conservative in Congress and Bob Good is ready to lead. He has a conservative voting record on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors and understands the people of the district. Good supports our President’s immigration policies and will ensure safety measures, including the border wall, are fully funded. Bob Good will support our President and his ‘America First’ agenda. He has my full support and endorsement in this race.”
Main Street Café and Coffee owner and founder of Moore’s Electrical and Mechanical, Dale Moore, has also endorsed Bob Good. Moore currently serves on the Campbell County Board of Supervisors for the Altavista District.
Last fall, the 5th District Republican Committee voted to have a District Convention as its nomination method. Counties from across the district will be hosting Mass Meetings to elect their representative Delegates to the Convention.
